- Anyone who is interested in ensuring a high quality education for all students can join as a “Friend of CASE.” This type of membership does not include voting rights for NMCASE.
Benefits of membership:
- CEC membership benefits including information (e.g., frequent legislative updates), participation/collaboration, impact, professional growth and development, professional journals (e.g., Teaching Exceptional Children and Council for Exceptional Children), newsletters, support, and awards.
- Networking with other administrators of special education throughout the state.
- Mentorship opportunities with experienced administrators of special education.
- Reduced registration fees for professional development opportunities sponsored or co-sponsored by NMCASE

NMCASE is an affiliate of the Council of Exceptional Children (CEC). Joining NMCASE is an option when joining CEC for an additional $60. CEC membership information is available at: http://www.cec.sped.org
