  • Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) Schools
  • Anyone who is interested in ensuring a high quality education for all students can join as a “Friend of CASE.” This type of membership does not include voting rights for NMCASE.
Why Should I Join?
Benefits of membership:
  • CEC membership benefits including information (e.g., frequent legislative updates), participation/collaboration, impact, professional growth and development, professional journals (e.g., Teaching Exceptional Children and Council for Exceptional Children), newsletters, support, and awards
  • Networking with other administrators of special education throughout the state
  • Mentorship opportunities with experienced administrators of special education
  • Reduced registration fees for professional development opportunities sponsored or co-sponsored by NMCASE
  • Professional awards
Membership Fees:

NMCASE is an affiliate of the Council of Exceptional Children (CEC). Joining NMCASE is an option when joining CEC. CEC membership information is available at:   When you complete your on-line membership application for CEC ($117.00/yr), be sure to mark DIVISION OF CASE ($60.00/yr) on your membership application to join NMCASE.  Don't forget you can use your IDEA Professional Development monies to pay Professional Organization Membership fees.

Friends of NMCASE membership is available for a fee of $40.00/yr. Membership forms are available by contacting the Membership Chair.
